
Chen Jiagang is a professor at both the School of CPC History & Party-Building and the Discipline Inspection and Supervision School at Renmin University of China (RUC). His primary research areas include Party Discipline, Political Science Theory, Chinese Politics, and Party Regulations and Systems. Professor Chen has led several significant research projects, including “Research on the Improvement of Socialist Consultative Democracy”(2013) and “Research on the Construction of the Party's Internal Regulations and the Security of the Party's Ruling Position,”(2018) both funded by the National Social Science Foundation. He has authored several influential monographs, including Deliberative Democracy and Contemporary Chinese Politics (2009)and Deliberative Democracy and National Governance (2013). Additionally, Professor Chen serves as the editor-in-chief of the eight-volume Global Governance Study Series and as the executive editor of the twenty-volume Literature on The Rules and Regulations of the World's Major Political Parties.
